The Greek gods are back and more malevolent than ever following an apocalypse that nearly wiped out humankind. Every year, they force a select group of sixteen-year-olds to undergo the Trials, a mortal challenge modeled after Odysseus’ ordeals. The unwanted prize of winning is years of forced servitude to the immortals. Some prefer death.
